Dr. Eric Schwartz
Guiding Future Healthcare Professionals with Experience That Matters
For many students, the path to a career in medicine, dentistry, physician assistant studies, physical therapy, Chiropractic Medicine, Optometrist, and other healthcare profession can seem overwhelming. There are countless decisions to make, from choosing the right courses and extracurricular activities to preparing for admissions exams and navigating the application process.
What makes effective advising different is not simply knowing the requirements—it’s understanding how admissions decisions are actually made.
For more than three decades, Dr. Eric Schwartz has worked in higher education, healthcare, and pre-health professions advising, helping students build competitive applications and achieve their professional goals.
Unlike many advising services, Dr. Schwartz has personally served in many of the roles that shape the admissions process. He has been a practitioner, biology professor, Dean of Clinical Education, Director of Pre-Health Professions Programs, and a member of admissions committees responsible for evaluating future healthcare professionals.
Because of these experiences, he understands not only what schools say they are looking for, but also how applicants are evaluated behind the scenes.
